NCSLMA2020 has ended
To register for the 2020 NCSLMA conference, go to the NCSLMA website and click on the Events tab. Since our conference will be completely virtual this year, here are some things you can expect:
  • Private Facebook group for attendees. Live keynote sessions, author sessions, awards, and door prizes will be hosted in this group.
  • Exclusive access to pre-recorded videos for one year through a private page on our NCSLMA website.
  • Live sessions through Google Meet for each level of Battle of the Books.
  • General business meeting for all NCSLMA members.

Technology has opened our world to a global community, but do our library collections represent diversity? To promote empathy and authentic voices, we need to have a balanced collection filled with books that not only reflect our population but expand it to encompass the world. We are going to explore resources, materials, and activities to help librarians think about their collection through a global lens.
