To register for the 2020 NCSLMA conference, go to the NCSLMA website and click on the Events tab. Since our conference will be completely virtual this year, here are some things you can expect:
Private Facebook group for attendees. Live keynote sessions, author sessions, awards, and door prizes will be hosted in this group.
Exclusive access to pre-recorded videos for one year through a private page on our NCSLMA website.
Live sessions through Google Meet for each level of Battle of the Books.
Check out time was always wild trying to help kids find books, check them out, and manage behavior because I am a one woman band in the media center. Then I implemented centers during check out time and suddenly that time was structured and students were engaged in learning activities. Participants will see the stations in action and find out which stations worked and which did not. Handouts will be provided.
