NCSLMA2020 has ended
To register for the 2020 NCSLMA conference, go to the NCSLMA website and click on the Events tab. Since our conference will be completely virtual this year, here are some things you can expect:
  • Private Facebook group for attendees. Live keynote sessions, author sessions, awards, and door prizes will be hosted in this group.
  • Exclusive access to pre-recorded videos for one year through a private page on our NCSLMA website.
  • Live sessions through Google Meet for each level of Battle of the Books.
  • General business meeting for all NCSLMA members.

I plan to share a presentation of ways to make elementary school libraries work for all ages. This includes the setup of physical space, organizational tools, and scaffolding techniques. Participants will leave with concrete ideas they can immediately implement in their own spaces to give ALL learners a sense of autonomy and ownership in their library.
