NCSLMA2020 has ended
To register for the 2020 NCSLMA conference, go to the NCSLMA website and click on the Events tab. Since our conference will be completely virtual this year, here are some things you can expect:
  • Private Facebook group for attendees. Live keynote sessions, author sessions, awards, and door prizes will be hosted in this group.
  • Exclusive access to pre-recorded videos for one year through a private page on our NCSLMA website.
  • Live sessions through Google Meet for each level of Battle of the Books.
  • General business meeting for all NCSLMA members.

There are an estimated 2.7 million children in the US with at least one incarcerated parent (28,000+ in NC). This workshop will focus on what we know about the children, impact of parental incarceration, and how to support them. Participants will receive presentation materials, book lists, and Sesame Street toolkit.
