How can you move from being the host to the planner or a participant to a key organizer? We will explore the skills and tools to build a successful event in your library as well as strategies to keep momentum and support as you explore your leadership. Turning guest speakers into larger panel experiences and turning teacher concerns to statewide mobilization for support of education will be among our many topics. Participants will work on creating plans and develop individual goals for their school media centers as well as consider the larger impact of combining their goals with their larger community needs and resources. We will work on taking your inspirations and transforming them into actions and events that will lift up your students' learning and build more community relationships to foster change in education.
