NCSLMA2020 has ended
To register for the 2020 NCSLMA conference, go to the NCSLMA website and click on the Events tab. Since our conference will be completely virtual this year, here are some things you can expect:
  • Private Facebook group for attendees. Live keynote sessions, author sessions, awards, and door prizes will be hosted in this group.
  • Exclusive access to pre-recorded videos for one year through a private page on our NCSLMA website.
  • Live sessions through Google Meet for each level of Battle of the Books.
  • General business meeting for all NCSLMA members.

Want to take your writing and that of your students to the next level? This interactive workshop session, led by award-winning author Jo Watson Hackl, will equip you with tools and techniques to make your writing (both academic and creative) and that of your students more powerful, more persuasive and more fun. Participants will be provided with writing prompts and tips to create original work. The session will then lead participants through a layered approach to revision using a bookmark revision tool. Participants will leave with a polished piece of writing. Handouts include a variety of writing prompts, brainstorming tools, tips to keep inspiration close at hand, and revision tools for use in both creative and academic writing.  You can find free resources at www.JoHackl.com/activities
