To register for the 2020 NCSLMA conference, go to the NCSLMA website and click on the Events tab. Since our conference will be completely virtual this year, here are some things you can expect:
Private Facebook group for attendees. Live keynote sessions, author sessions, awards, and door prizes will be hosted in this group.
Exclusive access to pre-recorded videos for one year through a private page on our NCSLMA website.
Live sessions through Google Meet for each level of Battle of the Books.
During this session we will discuss collaboratively writing a Read2Succeed Grant and our project, Paws + Read: Bulldogs + Books. The goal of our project is to help students (and teachers) build community, responsibility, empathy, and communication. Learn how we combined our love for for dogs with a love for books, handled a completely new school schedule, administration team, and a pandemic! We will provide reading lists, permission form templates and more.
