To register for the 2020 NCSLMA conference, go to the NCSLMA website and click on the Events tab. Since our conference will be completely virtual this year, here are some things you can expect:
Private Facebook group for attendees. Live keynote sessions, author sessions, awards, and door prizes will be hosted in this group.
Exclusive access to pre-recorded videos for one year through a private page on our NCSLMA website.
Live sessions through Google Meet for each level of Battle of the Books.
Collaborative project between Media Specialist and ELA teacher to lead middle schoolers to create bound copies of children's books that will be distributed to local hospitals for newborn babies. Middle schoolers are motivated to encourage reading aloud for newborns in their own community. Sample books will be available and discussion of steps for easy construction/binding of books.
