Not many people are aware that shortly after the Boston Tea Party, there was a Tea Party in Edenton. Using Project Based Learning, you can teach your kids about the event and empower them to make changes in their community. I have done this activity with 4th graders, but it will work well with 5th graders too since they study the American Revolution or with any grade to study little known North Carolina history. Come join the Tea Party!
