To register for the 2020 NCSLMA conference, go to the NCSLMA website and click on the Events tab. Since our conference will be completely virtual this year, here are some things you can expect:

Private Facebook group for attendees. Live keynote sessions, author sessions, awards, and door prizes will be hosted in this group.
Exclusive access to pre-recorded videos for one year through a private page on our NCSLMA website.
Live sessions through Google Meet for each level of Battle of the Books.
General business meeting for all NCSLMA members.

For the last 19 years, I have been an SLMC in the MHS Media Center. In addition to promoting reading and providing instructional support, I also enjoy learning from my colleagues & students, helping them with research projects and access to resources, and raising diversity awareness at our school. As a co-advisor of the Student Diversity Ambassadors, I am committed to empowering students with opportunities to come together, speak up, and celebrate their differences.
