Shana Keller
Shana Keller grew up a middle child in Middle America wondering exactly how clouds stayed in the air. She graduated from the University of Miami, Florida with a degree in Communications and is the author of
Ticktock Banneker's Clock (Sleeping Bear Press), a Best STEM book selected by the Children's Book Council and featured in Teaching Science to Every Child (Routledge, 3rd Edition).
Her other books include
Bread for Words, A Frederick Douglass Story and
Fly, Firefly! an Earth Day picture book selected by Barnes & Noble Booksellers, both published by Sleeping Bear Press.
Captivated by history and stories filled with success and wonder, Shana currently lives in the beautiful state of North Carolina and continues to write for children.
