To register for the 2020 NCSLMA conference, go to the NCSLMA website and click on the Events tab. Since our conference will be completely virtual this year, here are some things you can expect:

Private Facebook group for attendees. Live keynote sessions, author sessions, awards, and door prizes will be hosted in this group.
Exclusive access to pre-recorded videos for one year through a private page on our NCSLMA website.
Live sessions through Google Meet for each level of Battle of the Books.
General business meeting for all NCSLMA members.

Lina Maslo is an author and illustrator with a Degree in Art from New College of Florida.
Though she spent most of her childhood in Florida, she was born in Ukraine and came to the United States at the age of five. She loves stories about courage and perseverance--about people overcoming great odds to meet their destiny.

Lina’s Maslo is the author and illustrator of FREE AS A BIRD: THE STORY OF MALALA, published by Balzer+Bray of HarperCollins. FREE AS A BIRD is a Library Guild Selection, as well as a 2019 CCBC Choice and the winner of the Living the Dream Book Award.

She is also the author and illustrator of the brand new THROUGH THE WARDROBE: HOW C. S. LEWIS CREATED NARNIA.
