NCSLMA2020 has ended
To register for the 2020 NCSLMA conference, go to the NCSLMA website and click on the Events tab. Since our conference will be completely virtual this year, here are some things you can expect:
  • Private Facebook group for attendees. Live keynote sessions, author sessions, awards, and door prizes will be hosted in this group.
  • Exclusive access to pre-recorded videos for one year through a private page on our NCSLMA website.
  • Live sessions through Google Meet for each level of Battle of the Books.
  • General business meeting for all NCSLMA members.

Vickie Blankenship is starting her 26th year as a school librarian. Currently Vickie is the Media Specialist/Digital Lead Teacher at Asheville Primary School. Mrs. Blankenship earned her Bachelor's degree from Western Carolina University in Elementary Education in 1993. She earned her Master's degree in Library and Information Science from the University of Tennessee in Knoxville in 1994. She ls married to Burton, who is the Physical Education Teacher at North Cove Elementary in McDowell County. They have one son Avery.
